The San Jacinto-North Gators (48-13) are making their 23rd appearance and 4th straight appearance after topping Northeast Texas 8-3.  The Gators fell early in the tournament to Northeast Texas and used the if-game to earn their berth in Grand Junction.  The Gators are hitting at a .329 clip with 75 home runs and averaging over 10 runs a game.  From the mound, the Gators have a 2.52 ERA.
 
Tyriece Silas, a freshman outfielder, leads the team in batting average with a .437.  Alerick Soularie, freshman outfielder, has 41 runs batted in, 9 home runs, and .787 slugging percentage.  Sergio Macias, sophomore infielder and pitcher, leads the club with 69 runs batted in and 11 home runs.
 
Sophomore southpaw, Jacob Cantelberry, is fifth in the nation in wins with 11.  He leads the team in strikeouts with 76 in 64.0 innings pitched.  Freshman righty, Trey Dillard, has a 1.72 ERA and has seven saved for the Gators.  As a staff, the 2.52 ERA is one of the top three ERA’s in the nation behind Iowa Western (1.85) and Chattahoochee Valley (AL) (2.48).
